Claros Project is an effort to provide open source high quality web applications. Rather than building feature-fat and heavy applications, we focus on usability, stability and simplicity.

8.9.2008   Claros inTouch runs under AIX

Peter Steen from IBM Sweden has informed us that Claros inTouch 2.2 (development branch) installs and works on IBM AIX 5.3 and AIX 6.1 on Pseries CPU family, p5, p5 and p6 using latest Tomcat and IBM JDK/SDK. Thanks, Peter!

5.8.2008   Claros in RiaTalks 

Claros Project, how it emerged and future plans will be explained during the Riatalks Conferenceto be held in Bahcesehir University (Istanbul) between 8-9 August, 2008. Apart from Claros, there'll be interesting and lightning talks from Adobe, Intel, Yahoo, Microsoft and other corporations regarding web 2.0, usability and advanced web technologies. We expect to have more than 100 interested listeners. See you there!

15.11.2007   Claros inTouch 2.2Beta Installer Is Ready! 

Many users complained that installing Claros inTouch is sometimes too tricky and complicated. We've been working on a Java based setup application for some time and it is released today with the latest development release (2.2 Beta) bundled in.

This is a all in one installer which has Apache Tomcat, H2 Database Engine and inTouch. You'll be running the application in less than a minute on any operating system which supports the Java Runtime. (Run: java -jar install.jar)

15.11.2007   Claros inTouch 2.2 Beta is Released 

We are introducing the long waited version for inTouch including new modules (calendar and webdisk) and support for Secure Protocols as a public beta release. We've now added a new Product Branch as Claros inTouch Devel under the Products section and latest updates for the inTouch product will be available there until the new stable release is announced.

01.09.2007   Claros inTouch at Open Trusted Consortium 

The Open Trusted Computing (OpenTC) consortium is a Research & Development project focusing on the development of trusted and secure computing systems based on open source software. The project targets traditional computer platforms as well as embedded systems such as mobile phones. Tubitak, which a govermental research organization in Turkey and a partner of OpenTC, is working on Claros inTouch as the primary web based mail client for the next generation trusted computing. Claros inTouch 2.1 is released with minor bugfixes and added support for Traditional Chinese.

06.06.2007   Claros inTouch 2.0 is Released 

The long wait is over. After a year of hard-work, Claros inTouch 2.0(Ajax Version) is finally ready for the enterprise. The new look and feel of the full featured new communication suite called inTouch includes everything you need to get most from a e-mail and an IM client.
